His path to dentistry began in design—spending over a decade as a landscape architect—where he developed a deep appreciation for aesthetics, balance, and detail. That foundation continues to influence his approach today, shaping naturally beautiful, highly personalized results.Inspired by early experience in orthodontic lab work, Dr. Hlavaty returned to complete a second undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Utah before earning his dental degree from New York University. He went on to complete advanced implant training through NYU in collaboration with the Oral Surgery Clinics at Bellevue Hospital and NYU Medical Center.Prior to founding Hlavaty Dental Arts, Dr. Hlavaty focused extensively on implant dentistry, grafting, full-mouth reconstruction, and cosmetic treatments—becoming a trusted provider for both routine care and complex cases.
