I suddenly had intense mouth pain near a tooth but I didn’t want to return to previous dentist and I have no dental insurance. Hlavaty (“rhymes with cavity”) Dental Arts got me an appointment next day. It was a bad infection and tooth had to come out- Vanessa- clearly explained seriousness of the infection, the procedure and best plus alternative time lines and costs to me. There were also many ways to make payments made available to me so as to make it affordable. I was given another appointment for next day to have the infection treated and tooth extracted. Sheila took X-rays quickly and efficiently and was very kind -looking out for me to be as comfortable as possible. She also assisted with the surgery. Going in, I was really uptight about the surgery but I was relieved to discover I had nothing to worry about. Dr. Hlavaty was great- personable and down to earth which helped me relax and feel more secure and confident trusting him with my dental health. He was fast and the procedure went smoothly and much better and quicker than I imagined. Very happy with the results. Thanks so much to Dr. Hlavaty and his team for their expertise!

I was hopeless and afraid that the entire process of fixing my many cracked, broken and completely decayed teeth would be painful, unaffordable, and endless. After my first visit I was so relieved and felt reassured. He clearly explained the stages of my treatment and helped me understand that my fears were valid. He encouraged me to ask him any questions or concerns along the way and we would be partners throughout the entire process. Dr. Hlavaty calmly informed me that he has seen it all, even worse cases than mine! He been in the profession for many years and has extensive expertise with all my ailments. He is careful in his planning of stages of treatment and ensures the best possible outcome with as few appointments as possible. He is diligent in following up after every visit! If I had any issues at all after my MANY procedures, Dr. Hlavaty would make sure I had sufficient medication for pain management during my short term discomfort and healing process. He also made sure my new implants were comfortable and told me if I needed any adjustments to make sure to contact his office. I am absolutely thrilled with his meticulous work fixing my old root canals and replacing them with new crowns! I will never go to a different dentist after this experience with Dr. Hlavaty and his staff. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my smile. I HIGHLY recommend him! I saw Dr. Hlavaty for the first time for a cleaning 6 months ago after my regular dentist closed their doors. I was immediately impressed with the how clean and comfortable the office was. Everything seemed new and state of the art. Their staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and overall I had a very pleasant experience. Just this week I decided to go back in to see Dr. Hlavaty for a more in-depth procedure. A previous dentist had given me a filling in a back tooth that left a gap. For the past 5 or 6 years I have been needing to floss after every meal as to not allow food to get stuck which just kind of became my routine but all of that flossing caused damage to another tooth as well requiring a second filling. Because I have never been a huge fan of getting dental work done, I pushed it off for way too long. Dr. Hlavaty had me in and out feeling like the gap was never there. The doc and his assistant consistently checked in to make sure I was comfortable and fixed both teeth before I knew it. The process was quick and painless. I feel like in the future I will be far less hesitant to get dental work done because I know I now have a great dentist to rely on.

It turned out that I needed a tooth extraction and a bone graft, which is not a fun detour while traveling, but they were very friendly and helpful, making this bad situation so much better.
